Stone Ridge
Located a few miles north of Main Street in Fredericksburg off State Hwy 16. Stone Ridge has been developed in a series of phases with more phases to come. It is a quality restricted subdivision with all underground utilities and fiber-optic availability. One of the unique restrictions to the subdivision is the requirement for side entry garages. The lots range from nearly level treed building sites to heavily sloping hillside lots. Lot sizes depend on the phase in which they were developed. Most residential lots are in the 11,000 to 14,000 sq. ft. range while the latest phase, phase 7, has lots ranging from 15,000 -20,000 sq. ft. Development began in the late 1990’s. Typical homes in Stone Ridge are primarily native stone with stucco exterior and composition or metal roofing. There are also some brick accented homes as well. Finish out is generally higher end than other subdivisions. A typical Stone Ridge home will have granite counters, tiled or wood floors and higher end fixtures. There are generally a combination of spec built and resale homes available. Square foot requirements vary based on the phase that a home is located in. The minimum square foot requirement at its lowest is 1,800 sq. ft., with most phases being in the 2,200 square foot range.
